September 2024 Construction Update: Motorsports Gateway Howell Reaches Major Milestones with South Circuit Paving

The Motorsports Gateway Howell community is steadily coming to life, marked by notable achievements that showcase the project’s progress. Our South Circuit is now in place as envisioned for this unique automotive development.
South Circuit Base Course
The South Circuit, paved in partnership with AJAX Paving Industries, has officially taken shape. This 1.75-mile road course, designed by Driven International, boasts 15 turns, 140 feet of elevation change, and a 1/2-mile straight, bringing an unparalleled driving experience. With its smooth asphalt base course laid, the circuit is ready for finishing details, like paint, safety barriers, and final surface course prior to the 2025 racing season.

Sharing his excitement about the track’s features, “My first lap left me feeling thrilled with a deep craving for more. The 17-foot ascent through turn 10 leading into the 1/2-mile straightaway and the technical challenge of turns 13, 14, and 15 are my favorite features of the South Circuit. We cannot wait to share this technical track with our members and hear what features they enjoy the most.”
Motorsports Gateway Howell’s South Circuit is the most exciting new addition to Michigan’s motorsport landscape.
Garage Condo Developments
Meanwhile, the garage condo community is advancing further. Building 7, now enclosed with corner, base, and stack joint trims, provides a glimpse into the luxury lifestyle awaiting our owners. Rough grading for Buildings 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10 has been completed, and materials for Building 1 and 2 have arrived onsite, allowing us to maintain momentum in expanding this premier community. With the arrival of material for buildings 1 and 2, pricing for units in these buildings will increase per our published milestone pricing schedule.
Temporary Paddock
Our temporary paddock is also complete, with millings placed, graded, and compacted. While the permanent Pit Lane clubhouse is being constructed, a temporary building is being delivered for the 2025 racing season. These essential components lay the groundwork for future race events and ensure that everything is ready to accommodate our Drivers Club members.
