Major Milestones Achieved at Motorsports Gateway Howell: Circuit and Building 7 Progressing Smoothly

JULY 31ST, 2024

Motorsports Gateway Howell continues to make significant progress across several important areas as the 2024 Michigan Construction Season continues.

South Circuit Progress

We are excited to announce significant progress on the South Circuit. Over 50% of the sub-base material has been installed and compacted following the completion of rough and finish grading on the circuit's west side earlier this month. Edge drain installation is smoothly progressing on the east side, preparing it for the next phase of sub-base installation and compaction. Fine grading of the sub-base course and the installation of the asphalt base course are set to begin in early August.

Garage Condo Building 7

Building 7 is progressing well including the completion of masonry and blocking installation, and the ongoing installation of insulated enclosure panels. Interior work, focusing on electrical and plumbing systems, will begin in early August. We remain on schedule to deliver keys to our garage condo owners by the end of the first quarter of 2025.

Stormwater Management

Additionally, our stormwater management infrastructure has seen significant advancements, including soil stabilizing for detention ponds, installation of drainage, and construction of spillways and forebay walls. Responsible management of stormwater and attention to preserving our natural environment is of the utmost importance.

At Motorsports Gateway Howell, our commitment to environmental stewardship and delivering an unparalleled automotive lifestyle experience remains steadfast. Each construction milestone brings us closer to realizing our vision, and we are thrilled to share these updates with our community. Stay tuned for more exciting progress as we continue to build the future of motorsports.
