Technical InspectionS
Before participating in any on-track session at Motorsports Gateway Howell (MGH), all vehicles must pass a technical inspection to ensure safety for the driver, other participants, and track staff.
Why Technical Inspections Are Important
High-performance driving pushes your vehicle to its limits. A thorough technical inspection helps identify potential mechanical issues before they become dangerous at speed. This process ensures your car is track-ready—protecting both your investment and your well-being. Technical inspections are required for all vehicles before participating in any open session or similar driving events.
Each inspection is valid for six (6) months, though members are strongly encouraged to adjust their inspection frequency based on personal driving habits, vehicle usage, and any noticeable wear or performance changes.
Regardless of inspection status, members are personally responsible for verifying the safety and readiness of their vehicle before and after every session. This includes checking fluid levels, tire condition, brake performance, and all critical systems.
Members must provide a completed inspection form for their track vehicle before booking a session or entering the circuit.
Tech inspection forms can be emailed to members@motorsportsgateway.com.
