Pratt Miller Motorsports Continues Championship Charge with Strong Results in Detroit and Watkins Glen

JUNE 30TH, 2025

Pratt Miller Motorsports' Corvette Racing program delivered consistent, front-running performances in both recent IMSA WeatherTech Championship events—first on the streets of Detroit and then at the endurance classic in Watkins Glen—capping off a successful June stretch that now sees the No. 3 Corvette Z06 GT3.R leading the GTD PRO championship standings and Chevrolet taking the top spot in the manufacturer points.

At the Detroit Grand Prix, held in PMM’s home state of Michigan, the No. 3 Corvette of Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims showcased their trademark consistency with another strong run inside the top three, continuing a season-long trend of podium-level pace. Building on that momentum, the team headed to Watkins Glen International for the six-hour endurance race, where they delivered once again. Despite ever-changing conditions—including early rain, ten full-course cautions, and sweltering heat—Garcia and Sims fought to a second-place finish, their fourth podium in five races this season. Sims sealed the result with a daring late-race challenge and pass of AO Racing’s #77. The battle began with 30 minutes remaining in the race at turn 1, continued through the uphill turns 2-4 and completed at the chicane prior to turn 5. Sims credited the entire Pratt Miller crew for faultless strategy and pit work.

Meanwhile, the No. 4 Corvette driven by Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg secured their best finish of the 2025 season with a fifth-place result, climbing through the field in the final hours. Catsburg’s late-race fuel save and Milner’s tenacity through chaotic restarts kept the car in contention. The team’s performance contributed key points toward Chevrolet’s push in the manufacturer championship.

With this string of consistent top-five finishes, Pratt Miller Motorsports now leads both the GTD PRO team and manufacturer standings heading into the summer stretch. The team will regroup before heading north of the border for the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 13, where the No. 3 and No. 4 Corvettes will look to continue their charge toward the IMSA championship.
