This weekend, as the high-speed world of IMSA and INDYCAR takes over the streets of downtown Detroit, an exciting opportunity awaits Drivers Club members of Motorsports Gateway. For the first time ever, members will have the chance to experience the South Circuit of Motorsports Gateway in the virtual realm of sim-racing.
Currently under construction in Howell, the 1.8-mile, 15-turn South Circuit has been meticulously recreated and uploaded into the Assetto Corsa virtual driving platform. This initiative marks our first Drivers Club experience, hosted by Pratt Miller Motorsports at the 2024 Detroit Grand Prix.
A New Dimension in Racing
Released in 2014, Assetto Corsa has quickly gained popularity among sim-racers due to its realistic physics engine, accurate car models, and a robust modding community. Recognized as one of the primary software platforms for Esports competitions, Assetto Corsa offers a driving experience that is both immersive and true to life.
