Detroit Grand Prix Weekend Delivers Exclusive Access for Motorsports Gateway Members
Motorsports Gateway members enjoyed an unforgettable Detroit Grand Prix weekend, experiencing one of North America's premier racing events from a perspective few fans ever get to see.
Led by our Membership and Events Manager, Rob Rowles, members received admission to both Saturday and Sunday race activities, including access to the Pratt Miller Motorsports Patio overlooking Turns 5 and 6 along the Detroit River. The hospitality area offered excellent track views, interactive driving simulators, and exclusive Q&A sessions featuring Gary Pratt and Doug Fehan.
Beyond the hospitality experience, members enjoyed paddock access throughout the weekend and participated in the pre-race Grid Walk before Saturday's IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race. Standing alongside the cars, teams, and drivers moments before the green flag provided a behind-the-scenes look at professional motorsports that few spectators ever experience.
The highlight of the weekend came when Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports captured victory on the streets of Detroit. Watching the team take the checkered flag made the experience even more memorable for members, many of whom have developed a strong connection to Pratt Miller Motorsports through its partnership with Motorsports Gateway.
Experiences like the Detroit Grand Prix are a reflection of what Motorsports Gateway strives to provide: opportunities for members to move beyond the grandstands and engage more deeply with the people, teams, and stories that make motorsports special.
